A4 Mains Studio

Eyes on Talents members Léa Hermet and Benjamin Levy Jeantet met at Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Saint Etienne (France), and founded A4 Mains Studio in 2019. Erode is the result of research into minerals. It explores the origins of our planet, the formation of Earth, the origin of our civilization. The rock, which played a fundamental role in it, represents both a gigantic inanimate matter, but also the matrix of microorganisms. The stone from all its angles, its faces, is altered here. Time is palpable, it has softened the stone. This matter, that is supposed to be permanent, is escaping. Erode materialize the idea of precious resources in order to reconnect to matter.
