Clémentine Chambon

Eyes on Talents member, Clémentine Chambon, closes Le Monde's summer series "Un designer, un territoire", which focused every Sunday on a designer and their environment. Clémentine Chambon, designer en Occitanie : le paysage en héritage takes us to the hinterland of Nîmes, where she draws inspiration for her installations and furniture from the beaches of her childhood and the home of her great-grandmother. After her studies at the École Boulle and the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle, and several collaborations in Paris, Clémentine Chambon founded her own studio on the heights of Nîmes in 2019. Surrounded by nature, she reflects on the influence of the natural environment on our thoughts, creations and characters, and introduces us to her practice, often at the crossroads of art and design, marked by significant projects in her commitment to the environment.
