Shangyu Museum by Zhejiang
Architectural Design of the Year
Shangyu Museum by Zhejiang was named Architectural Design of the Year. Shangyu Museum is located in Shangyu City, Zhejiang Province, China. The shape of the building is like two superimposed cubes, which show special tension after twisting. Since ancient times, there have been many scholars in Shangyu. Starting from the cultural characteristics, the architectural design covers the outside of the glass with vertical columns that resemble book pages, forming a rhythm of contrast between the virtual and the real.
