Mains d’Œuvre

Eyes on Talents member, Mains d’Œuvre, is a design studio for high-end leather objects established by Quentin Barralon and Dorian Cayol in Romans-sur-Isère in Drôme. The duo met when they both worked at Robert Clergerie, a famous shoe manufacturer in Paris. Mains d'Œuvre has been innovating in the practice of leatherwork by perfecting the technique of molding leather. In 2019, they won a special jury mention at the 34th Festival de Hyères, with a collection of molded leather shoes. They are now presenting, Empreintes, a new collection of leather goods between modernity and know-how. Photographed in the universe of Antti Lovag and his bubble architectures on the plateau of Calern in the south of France, Empreintes is characterized by its clean and geometric lines, induced by the studio's leather molding technique.
