Worm bags are designed around an inclusive fastening system used to adjust the length of the shoulder strap. The fastening system is based on the compression of cotton wool. A flexible padded cylinder gets stuck in a hard metal piece.
This kind of fasteners are complex to handle for people with fine
motor skills difficulties (arthritis, blindness for example). Worm bags system does not require a precise gesture and is very flexible. The padded cylinder also provides extra comfort. The bag closes with a magnet, avoiding any kind of complicated closing system.
