This four-look collection explores the potential of what already exists. Using upcycled pieces from Dickies and Levi's, each garment is reworked through the application of hand-cut strips made from deadstock fabrics given to me by AllSaints. These strips are stitched onto the surface to create a cont
emporary interpretation of tartan and stripe, transforming otherwise familiar items into something new.
The silhouettes remain largely untouched (apart from coat and skirt), allowing the focus to sit on surface innovation rather than form. Subtle reflective elements are embedded within the designs (a signature of ROZE) remaining invisible in daylight but activated through light.
At its core, the collection is an exploration of resourcefulness and perception: using appliqué as a tool to elevate and reframe secondhand garments, proving that existing materials can be reimagined into something distinctive, functional, and desirable.
