Communion is an ongoing photographic series that explores the intimate, embodied relationship between women and nature. Each chapter unfolds in a different natural setting, where diverse women engage in moments of presence, reverence, and belonging within the landscape.
Rooted in ecofeminist and deco
lonial thought, the project reflects on the ways feminine bodies coexist and harmonize with the earth, challenging extractivist gazes and instead offering gestures of care, reciprocity, and ecological awareness.
From forests to coastlines, each image acts as both documentation and offering—a quiet invitation to reflect on sustainability not only as preservation, but as relationship.
Communion currently includes two chapters:
— My Mothers, a visual meditation on my mother and Mother Nature as co-nurturers.
— Forage, which observes food foragers in respectful dialogue with the source of their sustenance.
