This work is a depiction of what is going through my mind when I masturbate, when I get in touch with these desires I have. What turns me on, what triggers me, what worries me…
By learning to be more connected with the body and the mind, these two parts of what makes us human will no longer feel as separate or different, but as a whole. And by being whole, it is then easier to connect with each other, to share our vulnerabilities in a safe space.
To represent all of these aspects in the video, I filmed myself in the shower (which is a place where I often masturbate) and added as a layer to represent my thoughts and desires these images of AI models I trained with screenshots of the porn I watch, and portrait of the people I had a relationship with. There’s also a voice over that tells the story of a fantasy addressed to the many people I currently have a crush on.
