Under Pressure is about the pressure of the American Dream and chasing it, even though it’s a fabricated reality. I’ve always dreamed about LA. Hollywood made me believe it’s a world of sunshine, happiness and ‘happily ever afters’. Growing up in Europe, I didn’t find anything that looked like that.

It rains for weeks on end here, and I thought my happiness was tied to it. Once I get to LA, I’ll be happy too, I’ll have made it. I wanted to have a taste of that American Dream, so I booked my ticket… and the moment I arrived, it rained. Turns out even in LA the dream is just a dream.
Under Pressure shows you what it’s like to not reach the expectations the world laid on your shoulders. It’s about being a real person, in a growingly fake world.
