What sometimes seemingly appears as limitless violence, implicitly masks their unending attachment. They adapt in symbiosis, evolving as the ocean hugs the rocks firmly, time and time again.

The ocean builds them stronger than they ever could be alone. The rocks give pieces of themselves to make the other feel whole. Their relationship, unparalleled and unending in it's scope. 

Then without warning, the ocean calmly ebbs away underneath the surface. Leaving until they may one day hold each other once again. Never out of spite, but because she feels she must, to preserve her soul and her freedom, carrying with her the pieces that were devoted to her.

With every converging uprush, their bond grows even stronger and more passionate, until the day she realizes that she doesn't have to sacrifice who she is to stay.
