With my upcoming collection, aptly named 'Shawl,' I aim to breathe new life into the symbolic power of the Kurdish shawl while addressing the pressing issues of sustainability and resilience. The shawl, a timeless garment worn by Kurdish women for generations, represents more than just a piece of fabric. It embodies strength, protection, and a connection to the ancestral roots that define the Kurdish identity.

In my designs, I pay homage to the intricate craftsmanship and attention to detail that characterize Kurdish garments. The blending of traditional techniques with innovative elements allows me to create unique and versatile pieces that transcend the boundaries of time and culture. By incorporating metal embellishments, reminiscent of the bullets used by the Iranian regime, I strive to make a bold statement against oppression and honor the sacrifices of brave freedom fighters like Mahsa Amini.
