Renewi is a recycling company aiming to give new life to used materials. They partnered up with Design Academy Eindhoven to explore design possibilities for materials that currently get incinerated.
My class worked on the assignment, and when the collaboration was over Renewi requested a book contai
ning the results of all the students' projects. The teachers then hired me as a freelancer to design the book, due to my insight into the process as well as my proficiency in graphic communication.
Renewi had a lot of restrictions regarding style and use of colour, but its these restrictions that enable creative solutions.
