I am a fashion designer with experience in pret-a-porter and couture. In my work I focus a lot on tailoring and outerwear therefore I am interested equally in womenswear and menswear, considering the gender-fluid tendencies of the moment. My strong side as a designer is combining the knowledge of cla
ssic tailoring techniques, cut and draping with the sense of modernity and experimentation. I have got a good technical base, a strong sense for the quality of fabrics and materials as well as passion for traditional craftsmanship and finding original ways to construct and design garments. As a former visual communications designer I am interested not only in designing clothing but to be part of a team who creates a unique and culturally powerful image and translates it in a new and contemporary way. Being highly skilled in computer graphics allows me to work on many levels of the design process from creating prints and embroidery to visualisation of any creative ideas.

Working closely with the creative director in developing and executing pret-a-porter and demi-couture collections, supporting with creative and technical ideas on how new products can be developed. Researching seasonal themes and inspirations, implementing colour palettes. Sourcing of fabrics, trims
and hardwear. Sketching and handing off designs to the head of atelier. Creating prints. Working in collaboration with the in-house embroiderer in creating and developing different machine and hand embroidery techniques. Designing shoes and accessories.
Attending all fitting sessions throughout the collection development. Approving prototypes for production, feeding back concise and correct information to the product development team and atelier making sure this is done accurately and to the highest standard.
