A christmas tree concept for Hotel President Wilson, a luxury hotel in Geneva, Switzerland. Christmas trees are decorative, and often disposable. With the pressing issue of increasing global waste, I questioned if christmas trees could have a longer lifespan than just the festive season.

Baubles juxtaposes glass baubles against recycled chip foam, commonly used as an industrial insulating material. Foam protects the fragile glass baubles during transport of the tree. After christmas, the glass baubles can be used independently of the foam, and are given a second life as pendant lamps.
