One of the prominent phenomena in the ultra-Orthodox sector is life in the shadow of
silencing.
Children and teenagers are been sexually abused and raped every day, and their
voices cannot be heard.
As a child who grew up in an ultra-Orthodox family, I was educated in Torah stu
dies.
It was the high-grade rabbi who decided to cherish me and making me his Chavruta
(learning companion) every evening.
One of those evenings, during the learning I felt deep suffocation. The rest you can

My collection reflects the emotional process that I've been through from the eyes of a
child through the emotional jolt, the revenge and the acceptance.
Above all this, my work is a symbol of my daily shouting to fulfill the eleven
commandment - You shall not shut up.
