This gender inclusive collection is derived from a multitude of inspirations, from our initial interest in garment construction to the British punk scene of the 80’s-90’s, whom similarly repurposed military wear, customized to their liking. With the intention of mocker and functionality coupled with
the raw emotion of the anarchistic music scene seen in the vinyl appliqués and quotable content.
Hence the name Varient, derived from variation, this idea of transformation in the garments that is portrayed through the deconstructive, a-symmetrical silhouettes. A modern variation of classical garments.
