Puyu Liang is a Chinese jewellery maker and designer, who is passionate about understanding and exploring the relationship between jewellery and the human body.
After graduation at London College of Fashion in fashion Jewellery design to learn more about design and art. She started research at the Ro
yal College of Art in London to complete her master’s degree, in Jewellery Design.
Puyu continues her own daily exploration of the dialogue between the human body and its surroundings and how it interacts with and is represented by, the objects around it.
In her work Puyu uses traditional gold, silver and metal working techniques occasionally combining them with different materials to create distinct and subtly unique references to the complexity of the human form.
The end result is beauty in design, absorbing and reflecting the essential nature of human relationships with each other and with their environment.
