CH. 1 - The Ecological Family Theory

Analyzing the woman as an individual in itself, linked to a huge sense of cultural and family heri- tage, both questioned.
The project is conceived as an elaboration of understanding the construction of feminine subjectivity, influenced both by biology and psychology in its social and family context.

...

A wide process of how a woman achieves the consciousness and desire to change and shift outside of the predominante stereotyped sexist and patriarchal society.
Inspired by the major work of the feminist philosopher, Simone de Beauvoir "The Second Sex", I explore my woman identification through different concepts expressed by a psychoanalytic and historical materialist point of view linked to biology data, motherhood, the wife, the sexual initiation, homosexuali- ty and society life.

My aim now is to find the most adeguate way to transform the personal point of view into a universal subject of matter to which women can relate, reflect and confront themselves to.
Through a research method I look up to materialize the visual narrative into an immersive expe- rience by evoking emphatic understanding of how other people perceive their world. Attributing their social and personal meanings and values would be a way of empowering an enriching my study.
