Allium Porrum is a series of modular hand jewels with various dimensions, made of silver, brass and copper. Inspired by the natural growth pattern of a leek, Allium Porrum is realized from metal plates progressively laminated to reduce their thickness while the tool that I use leaves a mark on the su
rface (so that in the end) the facet ridges remind of leaf patterns. The metal plates are transformed into rings which collide with one another to form a whole object similar to Russian dolls concept. This versatility invites enables the user to handle the different pieces. Each slice is finely polished to contrast with the whole raw piece.
