Design a recycling bin dedicated to small spaces.
We have designed two recycling bin system proposals that adapt to the needs of as many users as possible, from small to large spaces, and manufactured with a minimum of resources. The first proposal bin is very modular and made of injection-moulded
bioplastic. The parts most likely to break, such as the pedal opening systems, have been avoided in favour of a more low-tech and durable opening principle. All parts are removable and easily separable to facilitate cleaning and to simplify the recycling process at the end of life. The second proposal is a bin made of folded sheet metal and wood. The trash can is a generally ungrateful and technical kitchen object. This one was designed to fit into the domestic space and exist as a piece of furniture.
