For Prefall 12 there were three strong print stories, a church print, a photographic print based on a couture embroidery ( look 7 from Fall 11Couture) and a remix of prints reflecting Riccardo Tisci's 7 years history at Givenchy.
The church print started from a vintage postcard showing a german c
hurch. Then building a depthy print from the interiors and colouring it with hard contrast orange.
In the Couture print we mixed in the brand dna with stars and chains in white, and placed it on the garments as a foulard print.
Tshirts from the past, cut and patched together, intarsia twill stars in a cotton t shirt, and curvy polo dresses pieced together from seven years of prints.
