With this project, we are exploring the potential of this industrial waste by diverting it from its original functions and inventing new uses. Through a creative and contemporary approach, the project promotes local heritage and expertise in the aluminium sector.

The bench
The bench is made from a single square profile divided into four sections, three of which serve as legs and one as a seat. The assembly system consisting of three threaded rods is simple and invisible. The properties of aluminium combined with the geometric and structural composition of the object give it both lightness and strength. The part is perceived differently depending on the viewing angles. From the front, it gives the impression of a stable and static geometry, while the footwork that appears from the side suggests imbalance and movement. Finally, the bench is anodized to highlight the beauty of aluminum.
