Ito est un petit tabouret en frêne massif à l’apparente simplicité. Son assemblage minimaliste questionne la notion d’équilibre en donnant l’illusion de ne tenir que par un “fil” (traduit “Ito” en japonais). L’inclinaison des pieds permet de se balancer et de profite
r de plusieurs positions d’assise.
Ito is a simple and playful stool made of solid ash. His massive shape set against the lightness of his assembly. It questions the notion of balance giving the illusion to hold by an invisible line (translated “Ito” in Japanese). Despite his reduced dimensions, we wanted Ito to be as confortable as possible with different ways of seating.
