Sugi est un petit objet en bois massif, aussi bien tabouret que table d’appoint. À l’origine en hêtre brûlé, il tire son nom de la technique japonaise du Shou “Sugi” Ban qui consiste à brûler le bois pour le protéger.
Son principe d’assemblage, simple et apparent,
est le point de départ d’une collection composée d’un tabouret bas, d’un tabouret haut, d’un tabouret double, d'un banc et de tables à manger.
Sugi is a little object made of solid wood, which can be used as a stool or a side table. Initially made of burnt oak, It takes it’s name from the Japanese technique of Shou “Sugi” Ban which consists of burning wood to make it weatherproof.
The assembly principle, simple and obvious, is the beginning of an entire collection composed of a stool, a bar stool, a double-stool, a little bench and dining tables.
