Aurélia Bire is an artist, designer and French entrepreneur who studied business and worked at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris before deciding to study art and design. She attended the AA and then the Chelsea College of Art and Design, both in London. After working as a freelance interior designer in London beginning in 2004, she took over her own family’s business, JCT Haute Couture Interiors, in 2008.

Since 2015, Aurélia Bire has designed very personal pieces. Her nature-inspired creations address universal themes and simple gestures. In 2017, she launched Via Aurélia to create furniture, objects and spaces that she sees as being at the crossroads of art, design and interiors. Thanks to her training and eclectic experiences, Aurélia brings a unique approach to each project and blurs the borders between categories to reinvent the traditional way things are usually done.
