A family trip to Corsica.
Three ravishing beige shells found in the sand. I drew their shapes on a piece of paper. My artist-hairdresser made golden settings, so they could be worn as earrings. The settings were so delicate, that they became the earrings themselves, without the shells!
Here, on a la
rger scale, I have designed a wall-jewel, which can be used like a mirror from Ancient Egypt.
Nice memories, a happy unexpected encounter,
delicate imperfect shapes,
some sort of perfection springing out of imperfection,
a reminder that we are all perfectly imperfect.
