Combining Illustration and Graphic Design is an area which I've wanted to try for a while. Since studying on a Graphic Design course I found it confusing at times into which specialisms I fell into.
This project was aimed in aiding myself or others who would want to go about exploring hybrid subjec
ts of design, rather than existing ones through image making.
The design Kit is made up of limitations for the designer or creative to pick from colours, typeface, grid ect resulting in a restricted design palette. The using process words or prompts the kit allows the creative to go about making.
Generating towards a body of work rather than single design pieces. Overall focusing on design process and improving design awareness and skill through hand-making, to create possible initial ideas for future design pieces, rather than finished product
