Van Zuylen is a collection of silver filigree jewellery that inspired by the work of Indo-European Batik maestro Eliza Van Zuylen (1890) from Pekalongan, Central-Java, Indonesia. Van Zuylen jewellery core ideas came from the essence of her batik which batiked with purely ornamented design that exhibi
ting intricate details. Her batik could easily recognize from the use of extremely elegant flower bouquets that consist of Indo-European flower such as; lily, roses, iris, and jasmine, and use as Indo-European woman wedding attire.
On this jewellery collection, Lily is being chosen not only because It has a beautiful and distinctive figure, but also symbolise “purity” when being used in a wedding. Each item in this collection inspired by flower arrangement that usually being used as a wedding accessory such as bridesmaids wrist corsage, and wedding band.
