A material, washi paper as the embodiment of the threshold between inner and outer self.
A moment, a quiet gaze on a sheet gazering the shifting colors of the outer landscape.
Finally, forms inspired by the traditional Japanese architecture and luminaires, and their shared philosophy.
The Washi No A
kari collection brings together different types of luminaires, all animated by the same evocative force of Japan’s luminous feelings, embedded in washi paper and its cultural uses.
Torii, Seuil, Indigence, Anokami, Mujô, Doro and finally Horizon make up the collection’s various models. Each piece crafted in the studio is unique, shaped by the artisanal processes employed and guided by an intuitive approach, led by the spontaneity of an ever-shifting horizon.
