Mixing loud distored guitar & hard hitting drum riffs, FAT WANG is great in the art of making you wake up with a big buzzing in your ears that will last 2 weeks. For their first record, the band wanted dark and purposeful visuals that would reflect the song’s motive: a gritty depiction of the human n
ature and it’s impurities.
I then created a few illustrations using a mix of ink and pen, digital painting and linocut representing delicate and innocent albino deers in somber environments and situations. An unfair battle between light and dark. The identity is composed of a record cover, a t-shirt, an alternative record cover and posts for social medias.
