This project was about developing your personal signature. You had to work with something personal, something that is important to you. My research contained pictures of my parents from the 80s, pictures from our home and other elements from my childhood. One element which took my attention was the f
act that we had and still have only Persian hand knotted carpets. I remember using the patterns of the carpets to play games. I started to do research on carpets. I combined the pictures from the 80s and my research of my culture and made collages out of them. I started to weave and used the same knotting technique as they use for making Persian carpets.
