The inspiration for this project started from a trip to Tokyo. I photographed things I found interesting and also captured some of them with my lines. As an overlook of all I had collected, I realised there were many graphical captures among my research and on the other hand, an interest for the trad
itional Japanese culture. I connected the Japanese culture to the Persian culture. I started to read poems from Shahname Ferdowsi, one of the poem, which caught my attention was this story about a woman named Gordafarid.
She was a warrior, but during her fights, she would dress as a man. The contrast between feminine and masculine side of her, become a part of my project
