This Project is about how women are portrayed in media. In the designers case, who have lived both here and in Iran, she did a research in the image of women created by the media in these two different cultures. How the media in Iran have so called solved the problem of objectification by covering th
e woman. However, this is another form of objectification but in a whole other way. Working with the contrast of these two different ways of portraying women is an important part of her project. By doing more research in the way women should cover themselves in the media in Iran, comes an interesting part; the censorship.
