Enjoy, live, succeed. That is my philosophy. I try and enjoy every single moment of my life. Indeed my dad has always taught to work hard and to manage my time effectively to be able to spend moments with my loved ones.
I have been raised in a loving artists family (designer, architect, painter, phot
ograph, sculptor) so I would say that I am sensitive to all kinds of art. I can be inspired by paintings, photographs, music… I like to get people's opinion on my work and ideas, and actually that is what helped me to evolve so far. I usually like to work within a team because sharing is one of the most important thing for me, that’s why I usually get along really quickly with the people I meet. Although sharing and getting the opinion of others matters to my work, I know when it is time for me to make the final call. I am a really confident person and I have a strong will, and that is why I see critics as an incentive to do better rather than a liability.
I like working with masculine shapes and turning it into something more feminine. If I had to fit into a box, I would say I am more of a minimalist but I enjoy working on details and embellishments such as embroidery. I like it when you don’t exactly know what you see because of how the fabric reacts to the light. You can't tell if it is skin, a breast, like a trompe l’oeil. I find the most beautiful part of a woman's body are the breasts, that is why I am always working around the side chest. I guess that’s also why there will always be transparency in my work.
