This piece was the initial structural ceramic piece developed through the articulation of a series of profiles based the wings of a dragonfly. The "wings" are arranged at varying heights to create a rhythm reminiscent of the motion of flight.
Made from glazed porcelain, the slab construction tech
nique employed and modular symmetry of the structure lends a biomorphic architectural quality to this ornamental dish.
