This body of work has been building a conversation between analog and digital photography and the boundaries of both mediums. Using experimental techniques in the darkroom and photoshop I’ve been striping away and building photographs from an initial negative into a photographic drawing. This for me
was a different way of making photographs by elongating the process of making a final image. Each image would take multiple hours to make and the way of creating felt much more like writing a story rather than photographing a subject.
