I was a finalist in the accessories category of the 32nd international festival of fashion and photography of Hyères with this collection.
"Géométrie variable" Collection, meaning flexible geometry. It indeed paradoxically associates minimalist lines and generous volumes, resulting in highly graphic
, extremely feminine jewels with nonconformist, excessive proportions.
To fashion these exceedingly structured jewels, I systematically start from a simple volume like a sphere, a cube or a disc. I then deconstruct it and reconstruct it, transfiguring or forcing its geometry. The initial sphere can thus become a cube, triangles can emerge on a cube, and two combined discs form a new objet.
The contrast brought by the use of both black and white, of matte polyamides, of crystal or stones emphasizes the minimalist lines, which are enhanced by the glittering exuberance of the gilded and mirror-finished metal.
In the end, these strict geometries find their variables when my jewels are worn. It is the own personal body language of the woman wearing them that reveals their volume in space and turns them from mere objects into jewels. A dialogue then takes place between body and accessory, the latter highlighting the bearer’s demeanor, magnifying and intensifying her movements.
