Encordé bags are made of tyvek, a wonderful material that looks like paper but has unexpected properties. It is waterproof and almost unbreakable.
To stiffen the tyvek, a thick rope goes around the bag, rigidify the bottom and the sides, creates a pocket in the front and ends in handles.

oject idea was born during a one-week workshop at ECAL (art & design school in Lausanne) while we where still studying. Especially for the Swiss Incubator event we developed this idea and designed two brand new models: A weekender and a backpack.
