Debut AW16 Collection:
The collection juxtaposes two seemingly contradictory phenomena that came to epitomise the 90s: the minimalist movement in fashion that celebrated clean, intellectual, concept-led designs and the rise of the loud, aggressive and often threatening lad culture.
The collecti
on's colour palette nods to the severe monochrome tones of minimalism: white, navy and grey. These dramatic blocks of colour are offset by panels of checked fabric, reminiscent of the era's track tops and the lads' (in)famous status symbol of the 90s.
Shirting and tailoring are made in premium wools and cottons, while the outerwear comes in waterproof, high-performance fabrics – all from the best mills in UK and Italy.
The silhouette is kept relaxed, young and urban with unimposing, subtle conceptual details that hark back to to the hybrid, deconstructed design of the 90s.
