Salima Filali

Eyes on Talents member, Salima Filali, is a Franco-Moroccan architect who creates unique decorations in zellige, a terracotta worked by hand in Morocco. Graduated in Geneva, Switzerland, she began her career in a large architectural firm. At the same time, she designed her first projects in Morocco where she discovered the know-how and the world of zellige. Passionate about this craft, Salima Filali launched her project in 2020 in collaboration with workshops in Morocco. That same year, she found support by winning the Fondation WRP's Light’Up Mentorship Program. Each unique creation explores a new language of shadows, lights and textures and reveals the exchange of cultures.
