A+A Cooren

Eyes on Talents member, A+A Cooren, is a design studio founded in 1999 by Aki and Arnaud Cooren, Japanese and French partners in creation and in life. Through their minimal aesthetic they seek to integrate a fragrance of nature in the interiors and objects they design. Tiss-Tiss collection is a fusion of extremes. Metal and fabric, East and West, radical and traditional, each aspect is revaluated through its juxtaposition with the other. Influenced by the Buddhist philosophy of Impermanence and the artwork of Japanese textile master Keisuke Serizawa, Tiss-Tiss captures a moment in time of complete serenity, the fusion of metal and fabric combining human and natural forces.
