Patricia Morosan

Eyes on Talents member, Patricia Morosan, was one of the photographers in residence for the 15th edition of Planches Contact, the Deauville photography festival that captures the essence of the Normandy region. At the crossroads of nature and imagination, her new photographic work, That Every Stone Is, is exhibited at the Franciscaines cultural center until January 5. Her series immerses us in the world of the Vaches Noires cliffs, an exceptional geological site located between Villers-sur-Mer and Houlgate, along the Channel coast. Patricia Morosan awakens the soul of these ancient rocks, considered natural archives, through imaginary rituals and symbolic dialogues. Using a variety of mediums such as photography, video, screen printing and sound installation, she gives a unique voice to these silent witnesses to the passage of time.
Patricia Morosan, born in 1984, is a Romanian visual artist based in Berlin. Exploring interdisciplinarity, her work evokes multiple realities and practices. Often collaborative and participatory, her practice engages with ideas and methods from emotional geography and ceremonies.
