Charlotte Juillard
Eyes on Talents member, designer Charlotte Juillard, has inaugurated the fourth season of the podcast Travail soigné. In this first episode, available on all listening platforms, she discusses the current challenges of eco-design and the role of the designer in creating new objects. In her creative approach, Charlotte Juillard places gesture at the centre of her projects, using combinations of materials to create surprises and make the most of each one. Like her Holi vase, born of the desire to draw a soap bubble that would land on a rock, a delicate work of contrast between the lightness of the glass and the hand-cut stone. As a designer she has weaved together many collaborations to develop pieces in small series or limited editions. In 2020, she launched HAVA with journalist Marie Farman, a Paris-based studio where they can imagine partnerships with craftpeaople and small series of objects.
