Atelier du Pont
Eyes on Talents member, Atelier du Pont, has completed this year an office building for the operating teams of Parc de la Villette in Paris. In an interview published this week by Dezeen, the French studio explains the main ideas behind the project, which follows the footsteps of architect Bernard Tschumi's 1982 masterplan of the Parc de la Villette and Folies and draws on the park's natural surroundings. Named Pavillon Jardins, its structure is composed of an exposed, gridded timber frame. The building has been designed so that its use and events create the identity of the site and the space is shared, allowing more.
Anne-Cécile Comar and Philippe Croisier, co-founders of Atelier du Pont, draw their enthusiasm from the diversity of the projects they are entrusted with. Architects, interior architects and designers, the studio defends a global approach to the architectural profession that has become their signature.
