Jade Cropper
Eyes on Talents member, Jade Cropper, was one of Wallpaper's talents to watch at the SS25 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week. The Swedish designer placed the snake figure at the center of her collection, representing rebirth, female empowerment and the cyclical nature of renewal. With designs that embrace the curves of the body like a second skin, Jade Cropper seeks to reinvent and inspire versatile, multifunctional clothing as a means of self-expression. Already known for her versatile pieces with hook and eye closures, ties that can be twisted and knotted and laces that run up the sides of the garments, this time her collection presented garments that were completely transformable, whether it was a leather jacket that turned into a bag, or a dress that unfastened and retied to become a low-waisted skirt.
Swedish designer Jade Cropper focuses on innovative construction, intricate details and an acceptance of imperfection and asymmetry. Through a creative process that combines deadstock and sustainable materials with innovative construction techniques, Jade aims to empower, instill confidence and celebrate individuality.
