Exercice

Eyes on Talents member, Exercice studio, participated in the collective exhibition Nouvelles Tribus x Nouveaux Usages - Espaces de vie pour millennials (New Tribes x New Uses - Living spaces for millennials) at Le FRENCH DESIGN Galerie, which closed earlier this year. The exhibition presented a selection of original design projects in response to the new uses and flexibility needs of our time. Exercice presented its Système Dcollection, a range of technical modules that respond to the different traditional uses of a living space: cooking, sleeping, washing and working. Designed as a simple, fast and cost-effective solution that can be easily deployed in a variety of situations, each piece of furniture offers turnkey solutions by incorporating specific technical features.
Exercice is the association of an architect and an artist, Edouard Danais and Gwendal Le Bihan, who founded their studio together in 2018. The duo produces hybrid creations combining art installations, architecture and design. The studio seeks to break down the barriers between disciplines and put the manufacturer back at the heart of the project. Working in dialogue, their work blends technicality and creativity, rigour and freedom.
