Lara Bohinc

Eyes on Talents member, Lara Bohinc, has unveiled Utopia, her first US commission created for the Miami Design District, following her nomination as winner of the neighborhood’s Annual Design Commission. Utopia is a friendly and dynamic sculptural installation composed of irregular organic cork shapes. These gentle and mysterious forms also serve as a place to sit, play and gather. Curated by Design Miami/ Curatorial Lab, the installation imagines a city where nature flourishes peacefully in harmony with our human presence.
Lara Bohinc is a London-based Slovenian creative. She began her career as a jewellery designer before turning to furniture and objects, founding her own studio, Bohinc Studio, in 2016.
