Eléonore Chellini

Eyes on Talents member, Eléonore Chellini, documented the surges of hope, the desires for elsewhere or simply the changing daily lives of young people in Senegal, giving rise to her series Nio Far, a poem to Senegalese youth, published last month in Fisheye Magazine. When discovering this country in 2019, it was especially young people who touched Eléonore Chellini, very present in a country where half of the inhabitants are under 20 years old. In 2022, she decides to return there, slowing down the pace and taking more time to let things come to her. One by one, her desire to learn, her questions, weave the thread of her visual story. "Nio far", an expression that the Senegalese often pronounce at the end of a sentence, to say "we are together, everything will be fine", gives its title to Eléonore Chellini's series, highlighting the solidarity of this impetuous and determined young generation.
