Francesco Pace
Eyes on Talents member, Francesco Pace, founder of design studio Tellurico, was commissioned by Isola Design to create and develop a spatial choreography and curatorial project for this year's Milan Design Week, which took place in April. Titled, Take Care!, the immersive show exhibited design projects focused on tackling contemporary issues that cover both the social and individual spheres. Creating a bridge between the inside and the outside, the design of the installation was inspired by the way the indigenous civilizations of South America cultivated their food, in communion with nature, along the paths they were walking. Likewise, Tellurico created a path along which viewers could walk and find the design projects that nurtured their minds.
A graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, Francesco Pace founded Tellurico in 2017, a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in the design of objects, spaces and installations. Tellurico focuses on finding alternative solutions through the study of folklore, as well as the relationship between craftsmanship and the environment.
