Marie Lueder

Eyes on Talents member, Marie Lueder, presented LUEDER's SS23 Synthetic Fire collection during London Fashion Week last June. Synthetic Fire focuses on spiral-shaped tailored cut-lines to develop new fonctions for today’s survival in elevated ready-to-wear garments. Marie Lueder pushed her collaborative practice, working directly with her team in their Hackney studio, who each created an outfit under her creative direction. The abstract fabric prints were designed in collaboration with London artist Jack Jubb and the set design realised by Tom Schneider.
After working as a bespoke tailor at the Hamburg State Opera, Marie Lueder studied design at the HAW Hamburg before completing her MA in Menswear Fashion at the Royal College of Art in London. In 2019, she founded her label LUEDER, a London-based brand for therapeutic menswear creating bespoke "survival outfits". The label reimagines menswear staples as functional armor to protect body, mind and soul – using LUEDER’s signature materials: organic denim, recycled jersey and regenerated nylon.
